Dear Friend,

During the holiday season, many of us have the opportunity to spend time with family and friends we seldom see. When you’re together, you may notice changes in a loved one and ask yourself, “Could it be Alzheimer's disease?”

Our free “Know the 10 Signs” infographic outlines the differences between typical age-related changes and those that may signal a more serious problem. “Know the 10 Signs” is an easy-to-understand visual guide designed to assist families with early detection of Alzheimer’s disease. Early detection is critical to receiving appropriate treatment, care and support services.

Common warning signs of Alzheimer’s include:

#4 Confusion with time or place
People with Alzheimer's can lose track of dates, seasons and the passage of time. They may have trouble understanding something if it isn't happening immediately. Sometimes they may forget where they are or how they got there.
#7 Misplacing things and losing the ability to retrace steps
People with Alzheimer's may put things in unusual places. They may lose things and be unable to retrace their steps to find them again. Sometimes, they may accuse others of stealing, and this may occur more frequently over time.

Download the "Know the 10 Signs" infographic today and send it to family, friends, co-workers, and your online social networks. The information it contains is so important – and there's no better time to share it than just before the holidays.

On behalf of the Alzheimer's Association®, thank you for your interest and support as we work to end Alzheimer's.
