Present Your Work to the World
Your work. Our stage. ICAD 2010 is the world’s leading forum for dementia researchers, and we want to see what you have to share. Submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations, plus a select number of featured research sessions. Opportunities also include the Alzheimer’s Imaging Consortium (AIC), a special one-day preconference event.

Presentation preferences
Oral presentations
A presenter in an oral session has 15 minutes, including question and answer, to deliver his/her science. The two-hour sessions consists of eight speakers. All presenters are required to pay the registration fee.
Poster presentations
Poster presenters are required to be near their poster for a designated time during the poster session. More than 400 posters will be displayed Sunday through Wednesday. All presenters are required to pay the registration fee.
Featured research sessions
A featured research session is a two-hour session consisting of six presenters. As part of the submitted program it allows researchers to submit an entire session organized around a topic. All submissions will be reviewed and graded by the Scientific Program Committee. All presenters, chairs and organizers must pay their own registration fee.
Criteria for acceptance
The Scientific Program Committees will consider the following criteria in their review of submitted abstracts for ICAD and AIC:
- Quality of scientific research
- Relevance to Alzheimer’s disease and related neurological disorders
- Newness of information
- Potential impact on neurodegenerative disease research
Abstracts must include the following
- Author information
- Abstract title
- Topic area
- Keyword(s)
- Learning objectives
- Abstract body (350 word limit) to include
- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Disclosure for all authors on abstract
