Dementia Care @ AAIC - Translating Research to Practice

Dementia Care @ AAIC: Translating Research to Practice is a one-day program presented in collaboration with the Alzheimer's Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter. Held on July 17 in Boston, United States during AAIC 2013, this international multidisciplinary program on dementia care will:

• Advance the dementia care field by showcasing evidence based programs and practices
• Stimulate discussion on person-centered care for individuals with dementia
• Disseminate information to thought leaders and change agents in the field of dementia care
• Facilitate the exchange of ideas and collaborations amongst international care experts

Launched in response to overwhelming interest and demand, Dementia Care @ AAIC is an enhanced version of the former Dementia Care Conference hosted by the Alzheimer's Association from 1991 to 2008. As a part of AAIC, the program will answer the demand for a global forum to discuss research results that impact dementia care.

For 2013 only, Dementia Care @ AAIC will replace the MA/NH Chapter professional conference, "A Map Through the Maze."

Registration
Registration for Dementia Care@ AAIC is $290. After you sign in and complete contact and demographic information, select the Dementia Care @ AAIC box from the registration table. You will then have the option to register for continuing education credits for an additional $20 if needed. Register early, space is limited!

Target audience
Decision-makers and opinion leaders in the field including, but not limited to, administrators, social workers, nurses, activity directors, counselors, occupational therapists and recreational therapists.
