The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. We serve the cause of Alzheimer’s disease by providing information and support services, advocating for policy change and advancing research in prevention, treatment and cure. Our national organization has offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C., and 78 chapters across the country.

A donor-supported organization, the Alzheimer's Association allocates its funds in an ethical and responsible manner that exceeds the rigorous standards of America’s most experienced charity evaluator, the Better Business Bureau.

We are especially grateful to all those who helped us do more in fiscal year 2007 by contributing to revenues of $97.7 million for the national organization.

Our mission

To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Our vision

A world without Alzheimer's disease.
