10th Annual Forget-Me-Not Youngstown Gala

Saturday,  May 3, 2014:  Tippecanoe Country Club

We are celebrating our 10th Annual Forget-Me-Not Gala on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Tippecanoe Country Club to raise funds to support Alzheimer programs and services in the Mahoning Valley. For the past ten years many local individuals, businesses and organizations have attended and provided financial support of our local gala, which is one of our largest fundraising and public awareness events of the year.

We are planning for an exciting evening to celebrate this milestone anniversary year in style. The fabulous dining experience at Tippecanoe will provide a sumptuous meal.  This year’s gala, also promises some unique and must-have live and silent auction items for bidders.

One of the most important highlights of the evening will be to honor an individual or family, who has moved the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association forward.

Join us for an entertaining evening and an opportunity to do something important in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

Tickets for the gala are $75. Your business is invited to consider a sponsorship, which begins at $500.  If you are interested in be a committee member, donating a live or silent auction or sponsorship, please contact Helen Paes, development coordinator, at the Canfield office at 330-533-3300, or e-mail: hpaes@alz.org.

Saturday, May 31st:  Stile Athletic Field House - University of Akron

Don’t miss the fun and excitement of the second annual Blondes vs. Brunettes powder puff football game.  This gridiron competition is divided based on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes (redheads are free agents and can choose either team).  This event brings the passion and spirit of young community leaders together to support the Alzheimer’s Association.  While only one team will win the game, we are all champions tackling Alzheimer’s!

To register or to learn more, visit BvBAkron.org or call Lori McCleese at 330-650-0552 or e-mail:  lmccleese@alz.org
