When you join the Memory Walk in your community, you are raising funds that directly contribute to better Alzheimer’s support programs and treatments for those affected by this terrible disease.

Memory Walk, presented by Genworth Financial, is the national signature event of the Alzheimer’s Association, bringing together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members – all walking to make a difference. Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised amore than $200 million to help those battling Alzheimer’s disease.

Register your team online today! Every participant that registers before June 5, 2009 will be entitled to an Alzheimer's Association tote. Also, this year there will be contests and prizes for those walkers that are registered online, so make sure you get signed up early to get in on the fun!

Other ways that you can get involved include; serving on a planning committee, donating a raffle basket for the day of the walk, sponsoring the event, or volunteering the day of the walk.
