About us
The Alzheimer’s Association - Mid South Chapter
The Alzheimer’s Association - Mid South Chapter serves 85 counties in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Virginia with offices in Nashville, Memphis, Tullahoma, Johnson City, Chattanooga and Huntsville. Since 1980, the Chapter has provided reliable information and care consultation; created supportive services for families; increased funding for dementia research; and influenced public policy changes. Today, the Mid South Chapter serve the over 50,000 affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias as well as the over 100,000 people involved as caregivers.
Our mission
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Financial information
The Mid South Chapter is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donor-supported organization. Programs and services are made possible through contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations. The chapter uses 79% funds raised for programs, services and research efforts.
Annual report
The Mid South Chapter Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2006 highlights our efforts that helped us expand our horizons, broaden our base of partnerships, increase revenue, and extend our operational capacity toward improving quality care and quality of life for those affected by Alzheimer's who are in our 64 county area.
