Walk to End Alzheimer's is the nation's   largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research - it calls on people of all ages to take action in the fight.

Coming Spring the Alzheimer's Challenge Cycling Event

Cyclists can choose from a 62, 30, or 15 mile ride. Be a part of a new cycling tradition in Tennessee.

 Alzheimer's Benefit Block Party
Hosted by NHC Murfreesboro

The 2nd Annual block party benefiting the Alzheimer's Association will be August 14 from 5-9 p.m. on Bell Street.

A $10 donation includes dinner, drink and music. Receive 2 FREE admission tickets by donating 1 new or gently used I-Pod. Live entertainment provided by Rockslide. Sponsorship opportunities are available. RSVP to NHC Murfreesboro to pre-order tickets 615.893.2602.

                         

Alzheimer's Awareness Night
with Memphis Redbirds

Join us August 16 at AutoZone Park for Alzheimer's Awareness Night.
Game begins at 6:05 p.m. with doors opening at 5 p.m.

Use the code "purple" when paying and $5 from each field box
ticket sold will be donated to the Memphis Walk to End Alzheimer's.

 Alzheimer's Town Hall Meeting

Our Huntsville office will host a town hall meeting at the Huntsville Public Library on August 20. Community members are encouraged to attend to share their story and how a successful National Alzheimer's Plan will impact their lives. Area researchers will also be in attendance to share the latest on research, care and the trajectory of this disease. Registration is not required but is appreciated. Alzheimer's Awareness Night
with Jackson Generals

Join us August 20 at The Ballpark at Jackson for Alzheimer's Awareness Night. Wear purple and receive FREE admission! Game begins at 7:05 p.m. Contact Laura Beth Davis for more information.

 

 Bumpus Harley-Davidson of Jackson is coordinating a Benefit Ride to End Alzheimer's. Ride is set for August 22 at 10:15 a.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m. $25 per bike. All proceeds go to Jackson Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Here are several easy steps to take if you want to host a fundraising event to benefit the Mid South Chapter!

Select the type of event you want to have (check out the ideas below)

Contact the Chapter office nearest you for a fundraising kit that includes a third-party event proposal form (the Mid South Chapter must pre-approve all third-party events benefiting the Chapter). Download Third-Party Proposal Form

Host your event

Submit your event report with the proceeds of your event (photos welcome)
