Each year, individuals, businesses and community groups throughout New Jersey plan and host events and activities whose proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association.  These events assist us in:

  • providing assistance for respite care services to families in need
  • expanding our community outreach efforts through family and caregiver education and training programs


  • offering professional education and training programs


  • expanding the Learning Institute to include new programs


  • providing information, resources and support to caregivers through Helpline, our 24/7 toll-free number that receives an increasing volume of calls, averaging close to 700 each month


  • enrolling individuals in the MedicAlert+Safe Return program

Bankers Life and Casualty Company’s Parsippany Branch Sales Office employees collected donations outside of local supermarkets as part of its annual, nationwide Forget-Me-Not Days fundraiser.

Mrs. Middlesex County America 2008, Danielle Micale (standing, center), hosted a Champagne Brunch benefit at the Cranbury Inn, Cranbury, N.J.

 

Dick and Pat Walker hosted a Remember Me Day fundraising event at their restaurant, One28 Bay, in Highlands N.J., in honor of Pat's mother, who died of Alzheimer's disease.
