Family Care ConsultationCare Consultation is a confidential, individualized service offered by the Alzheimer's Association. Assistance with problem-solving and identification of resources are available to persons with memory loss and their families. More Information on Family Care Consultation
Respite CareThe Caregivers Respite Care Assistance Program provides financial assistance and supportive counseling and resource assistance to families in order to help them obtain relief or “time out” from the heavy demands associated with primary caregiver responsibilities. When you care for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease, you give a gift of love, time, and energy. While caregiving is very rewarding, it may also create tension and be exhausting. Respite care is an important program for caregivers; it is essential in helping them maintain their own physical and emotional health. Message BoardsThe Alzheimer’s Association message boards and chat rooms provide an online community for persons with Alzheimer's, caregivers and care providers. Our message boards have thousands of registered members from around the United States and thousands more who refer to the stories and information that is available 24 hours a day. MedicAlert®+Alzheimer's Association Safe Return®Alzheimer's Association MedicAlert and Safe Return® is a nationwide identification, support and enrollment program that provides assistance when someone with Alzheimer's or a related dementia wanders and becomes lost. Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
