About WALKThe Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's™ is our national signature event and brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who all want to make a difference. Since 1989, Walk has raised more than $200 million to help those battling Alzheimer's disease. Volunteer RequestThe 2011 Walk to End Alzheimer's™ is actively recruiting steering committee members and volunteers for the upcoming Walks. Held annually in more than 600 communities across the country, this inspiring event calls volunteers of all ages to be champions who move forward the cause to care and cure Alzheimer's disease.
