Essential Job Functions
â€¢ Proactively identify, cultivate, and close new cause marketing relationships and sponsorships with consumer product companies.
â€¢ Implement and execute a comprehensive regional and national cause marketing program.
â€¢ Oversee Association day to day cause marketing operations, including review of reactive opportunities, communication of guidelines, execution of agreements and implementation of programs.
â€¢ Collaborates closely with Corporate Initiatives, Relationship Events, Constituent Events, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and Medical & Scientific Relations staff to ensure brand compliance and maximize revenue opportunity of business on an ongoing basis.
â€¢ Communicates effectively and efficiently with team, clients, and prospects individually, in meetings and in presentations
â€¢ Uses excellent project management skills to manage budget, provide data and prepare monthly status reports to monitor client activity, revenue and performance evaluation.
â€¢ Minimum 5 years experience in project management in a consumer driven environment with at least 4 years in a cause marketing position.
â€¢ Proven ability to identify donors and cultivate relationship leading to substantial commitments.
â€¢ Demonstrated success in building and growing a cause marketing development function for a large multi-faceted organization
â€¢ The ability to think out-of the-box in the idea phase. Thrives and adapts to a constant changing environment.
â€¢ An ambitious, realistic and enthusiastic mind-set. Goal oriented; delivering results.
â€¢ A self-starter. Worked independently; makes decisions and implements. Handles strict deadlines and prioritizes work.
