Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships

General Summary

The National Capital Area Chapter is currently searching for a dynamic, highly skilled, mission-driven Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships.

Essential Job Functions

The primary focus of this position is on revenue generation, building and managing sustainable corporate and private sector partnerships with the Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter. Reporting to the Vice President, Development, this position will research, prospect, cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of 35-50 corporate relationships resulting in annual contributions, program and event sponsorships, volunteers, workplace giving, membership in Alzheimer's Early Detection Alliance (AEDA), and/or other chapter initiatives. This position is responsible for developing gifts and sponsorships in support of programs, events and organizational priorities, and serves as a member of the larger development team.

Minimum Requirements

  • To be considered, applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in corporate fundraising, sales, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Three+ years of direct experience in institutional fundraising, cultivation and solicitation of corporate donors, or relevant experience in the private sector in corporate sales/business development, preferably in a healthcare or other service environment.
  • A minimum of three years, comfort level, presence and ability in presenting to senior and mid-level corporate executives on fundraising and relationship management activities.
  • Proven success identifying and soliciting new corporate partners is essential. Proven track record for generating revenue either through corporate partnership support or corporate sales.
