Administrative Assistant (Louisville, KY)

General Summary

The Greater Kentacky and Southern Indiana National Chapter located in Louisville, KY is seeking an individual for the Administrative Assistant  position.


Essential Job Functions

  • Answers the telephone and routes calls as appropriate; greets visitors to office
  • Assists Community outreach with data entry, fulfillment and other clerical duties
  • Opens and distributes mail
  • Assists Donor Services Manager to process batches in the development software
  • Updates development software/constituent records
  • Assists with drafting memos and letters
  • Assist with and processes special mailings
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Demonstrated data entry skills and experience
  • Understanding of administrative procedures
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ability to learn new software systems
  • High level of integrity, diplomacy and initiative
  • Ability to work independently
