Vice President, Corporate Engagement

General Summary

The Alzheimer's Association  - Greater Illinois Chapter is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Engagement, to lead its corporate engagement activities.  This highly experienced individual should have a proven track record of significant corporate relationship building and successful engagement of corporations in a vital cause.

Essential Job Functions

Working closely with the CEO and members of the Board, this Vice President is responsible for substantial revenue generation through effective management of sustainable relationships with corporate and corporate foundation partners and will supervice staff engaged in intermediate ($1-10K gifts) and corporate engagement, grant writing and third-party fundraising engagement.  Strong collaboration skills are vital as opportunities for partnership with staff on a national level are present.

This position is based in our Chicago office and report to the President/CEO.  Requires travel primarily in the Chicago area, but occasionally other parts of Illinois.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, background in healthcare or science a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a medical or healthcare environment, or in an organization serving medical and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with public speaking.
  • Good organizational skills.
