Technical Assistant, Public Relations

General Summary

Provide administrative support to the team. Monitor, analyze and report on media coverage of the Alzheimer' Association. Triage incoming media inquires. Maintain various media databases and files.


Essential Job Functions

- General administrative support; conference room scheduling and arrangements, mailing/shipping, print/copy press materials, document formatting, travel arrangements, etc.
- Conduct media monitoring with daily, monthly, quarterly and specific campaign reports
- Triage incoming media and general constituent inquiries
- Develop and maintain various media databases
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

- High School diploma, College graduate or equivalent experience
- Strong writing/communications skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous administrative or support staff experience
- Stong analytical and problem solving skills
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Experience with database management and analysis
- Data entry experience
- Basic understanding of public relations and its function
