| General Summary |
The Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter is currently searching for a dynamic, mission-driven Manager, Constituent Events for the Southern Maryland territory. THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION, 20 HOURS A WEEK (exempt). |
| Essential Job Functions |
The primary focus of this position is on revenue generation. Responsibilities include all aspects of fundraising and coordination for Walk to End Alzheimer's, Southern Maryland locations (Waldorf and Solomons), oversee all aspects of assigned third party events and identify, cultivate, solicit, manage, and support Table Hosts for the Reason to Hope Breakfast, encompassing community outreach, event-related presentations, recruiting team captains and individuals, renewals, committee recruitment, management, coordination, support and relationship building in the Southern MD region (Charles, Calvert and St. Mary's counties) as well as all related administrative and on-line fundraising promotion details. |
| Minimum Requirements |
To be considered, applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fundraising, Hospitality, Sales, Communications or other related field OR equivalent years experience in fundraising and volunteer/committee management as well as three years experience in institutional fundraising, cultivation and solicitation of donors. You must be detail-oriented, highly organized and possess an understanding of the mechanics related to fundraising events to be successful in this position.
