General Summary

The Clinical Trial Technical Assistant will serve as the primary contact for the Alzheimer's Association in handling incoming calls regarding access and enrollment in Clinical Trials for persons with Alzheimer's and other related dementias. The Clinical Trial Technical Assistants secondary function will be to handle incoming calls and requests to the Association's Call Center while providing high quality customer service, support and general information/education about Alzheimer's disease and the Association.

Essential Job Functions

- Assist callers interested in locating clinical trials for Alzheimer's disease, gathering their contact information for documentation and potential follow-up and provide them the relevant clinical trial contact information and trial site.
- Document all telephone transactions while adhering to a confidentiality agreement. Abide by Call Center policies and procedures.
- Provide general information about Alzheimer's disease and answer questions regarding the Associations activities, event and programs- including taking donations over the phone.
- Assess and triage calls appropriately to care consultants, chapters or others within the Association.

Minimum Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates and/or Bachelors degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of customer service work experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Windows environment with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
