General Summary

The Web Production Manager position is a key part of the e-strategy management team, combining superior technical skills with managerial duties. The position is responsible for managing the workflow of the e-strategy technical production team, working closely with the Senior Associate Director of Technical Strategy. The Web Production Manager ensures that projects are produced on time, within scope, and managing team timelines and customer expectations. The Web Production Manager is "hands on" and responsible for production, troubleshooting issues and implementing Web sites that are best in class.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage two Web specialists    
• Responsible for Web production as needed   
• Manage department's daily, weekly, monthly projects, scheduling work of direct reports as well as other team members' work
• Ensures optimal coding of all Web site content  
• Act as Project Manager on assigned projects  
• Troubleshoot technical issues    
• Test lead - develop and manage test procedures 

Minimum Requirements

• Six years web development experience
• Two years production management or project management experience
• Two years supervising staff
