Specialist, Operations (Public Policy)

General Summary

This position is responsible for: (1) providing operational support to the public policy division; (2) project management for division work groups; (3)  Division fact sheet production and proofing of publications.

The successful candidate must be a strong team player and enjoy working in a collegial yet highly demanding and effective culture. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated ability to manage data – from creating monthly division wide "dashboard" reports to providing trend analysis.  Core responsibilities include: report creation on monthly, quarterly and ad hoch basis; meeting logistics and technical support.

This position is based at the Washington, DC location of the Alzheimer's Association (relocation expenses not covered).

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Excellent analytic and research skills
• At least 2 years of previous experience in non profit office environment 
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have experience working with Google suite.
• Experience with a CRM software required, knowledge of Convio or Knowedgis a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Proofreading skills
• Ability to multi-task
