General Summary

The National Office is seeking an individual for the Chapter Controller position.  This role is responsible for performing chapter accounting and financial reporting.

The successful candidate must be a strong team player with attention to details and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated ability to perform all levels of accounting functions.  Core responsibilities include: presentation of financial results to board of directors, preparation of not-for-profit financial statements and variance reports; reconcile Statement of Financial Position accounts, resolving accounting discrepancies; supervise clerical deposits and payables data entry.

Minimum Requirements

• CPA
• Three years financial accounting experience, including board presentations 
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels
• Familiar with complex accounting systems
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with MAS 500 preferred
