Associate Director, Relationship Events |
| General Summary |
The National Office located in Downtown Chicago is seeking an individual for the Associate Director of Relationship Events. This position is responsible for logistics management and execution; fundraising support; and strategic planning of all aspects of assigned events, including but not limited to advance planning, venue and vendor contract negotiations and coordination; collateral, sponsorship and promotional materials; event budget management; supervise the activities of volunteer leaders and work with event co-chairs to execute the event; sponsorship pledge renewals and solicitation; follow-up, administrative and tracking; volunteer recruitment and management; and on-site staffing. Events include Chicago and New York Rita Hayworth Galas, National Alzheimer's Dinner in DC, Part the Cloud and other galas/events as assigned. |
| Essential Job Functions |
• Logistics management and execution, overall coordination and strategic planning of all aspects of assigned events (notably Chicago Gala, National Alzheimer's Dinner, and Part the Cloud) |
| Minimum Requirements |
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations and/or marketing, or related field |
