Program Associate

General Summary

General Responsibilities: Provides administrative support to achieve the organizational goals of the Alzheimer's Association.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintains the following for the volunteer program: application processing, volunteer maintenance of files and database, assures accuracy of website information and flyers. Except for education volunteers, coordinates interviewing and training volunteers.
  • Coordination of volunteer events as needed (Day of Caring.)
  • Maintains information on volunteer websites (UofR, Volunteer Match)
  • Registers and attends volunteer fairs as needed.
  • Records services rendered in the agency data base and other data bases, run queries as needed.
  • Tracks services rendered via program specific spreadsheets/master schedule.
  • Distributes surveys per association guidelines.
  • Sends evaluations as needed to National Alzheimer's Association.
  • Organizes and maintains appropriate file systems.
  • Manages educational materials, keeping them current (files and outlines, brochure orders/inventory).
  • Maintains calendars for agency events.
  • Maintains office equipment: Copier, Postage Meter: Service/Supplies/Meter Reads. Include checks for the BRM account.
  • Maintains inventory of brochures, office forms and kitchen supplies.
  • Signs out library books
  • Maintains front office area and library.
  • Assists at program events, including in-house events.
  • Provides receptionist and phone coverage.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates Degree with 2 years experience.
  • Experience in office procedures, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft computer software programs. • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written, oral, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and maintain a neat, attractive workspace.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize assignments within responsibilities of the position.
  • Ability to work independently a must.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must have own vehicle.

Accountability: Reports to the Director of Administration and Public Policy

Status: Full time non-exempt position.
