General Responsibilities: Provides administrative support to achieve the organizational goals of the Alzheimer's Association.
Essential Job Functions
Maintains the following for the volunteer program: application processing, volunteer maintenance of files and database, assures accuracy of website information and flyers. Except for education volunteers, coordinates interviewing and training volunteers.
Coordination of volunteer events as needed (Day of Caring.)
Maintains information on volunteer websites (UofR, Volunteer Match)
Registers and attends volunteer fairs as needed.
Records services rendered in the agency data base and other data bases, run queries as needed.
Tracks services rendered via program specific spreadsheets/master schedule.
Distributes surveys per association guidelines.
Sends evaluations as needed to National Alzheimer's Association.
Organizes and maintains appropriate file systems.
Manages educational materials, keeping them current (files and outlines, brochure orders/inventory).
Maintains calendars for agency events.
Maintains office equipment: Copier, Postage Meter: Service/Supplies/Meter Reads. Include checks for the BRM account.
Maintains inventory of brochures, office forms and kitchen supplies.
Signs out library books
Maintains front office area and library.
Assists at program events, including in-house events.
Provides receptionist and phone coverage.
All other duties as assigned.
Associates Degree with 2 years experience.
Experience in office procedures, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft computer software programs. • Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written, oral, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to organize and maintain a neat, attractive workspace.
Ability to plan and prioritize assignments within responsibilities of the position.
Ability to work independently a must.
Must be self-motivated.
Must have own vehicle.
Accountability: Reports to the Director of Administration and Public Policy
