Bilingual Area Director in Ventura County Regional Office

Position Description
We are seeking a (bilingual) Area Director to manage the Chapter's Ventura Regional Office in Camarillo. That office provides services to residents in Ventura County. This is a F/T (40.0) position with benefits. The Area Director works with the Chapter Management Team to develop and implement programs and services that carry out the mission of the organization. Responsibilities include coordination, implementation and evaluation of services provided and outreach for walk and other fundraising events in this area.

Basic Duties

• Responsible for providing individual and family care consultations / coaching sessions in person, by telephone, and via e-mail
• Learn, schedule and deliver Consumer Education programs in English and Spanish in the community
• Manage the Speaker's Bureau program
• Develop new and maintain existing relationships with other service organizations with an intention to provide services within the community

Minimum Requirements:

• College degree in social work, counseling, nursing, gerontology or a related field. Master's level degree highly desirable
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience in developing and conducting educational programs
