Join the companies and organizations committed to the cause
Alzheimer's disease is fast becoming one of the greatest medical challenges facing Americans today. We invite you to join the Alzheimer's Association Early Detection Alliance (AEDA) to help spread awareness of Alzheimer's disease. Our goal is to educate everyone about the warning signs of Alzheimer's, the importance of early detection, and the resources available to help them.
Benefits of your participation
- Help your employees and customers gain access to early detection resources and brain health education.
- Help your customers recognize you as an advocate to increase awareness of Alzheimer's disease.
- Help your employees and your customers regard you as a positive corporate and community citizen.
- Help reinforce your company or organization as a premier place of employment.
Why early detection matters
Early detection of Alzheimer's is important for your employees as both individuals at risk and as caregivers for family members. Most people do not know when forgetting becomes a serious health problem. By putting off learning more, people impacted by Alzheimer's disease are being diagnosed too late and miss the opportunity to get the best help possible.
Join the AEDA
Your company can join the Alzheimer's Early Detection Alliance by simply agreeing to educate people about Alzheimer's. There are two levels of membership:
At the Member level, your company agrees to educate your employees about the importance of the 10 warning signs and early detection of Alzheimer's. We'll provide a free, online toolkit with information and materials your company can use in your communications: newsletters, intranet, posters and more. Your company will be listed on our local and national website and may be included in public relations efforts.
At the Champion level, your company agrees to take an additional step and educate your members, customers or the public, for example, by providing information on your public website and sharing resources in your retail outlets and at conferences. Your company's logo will be featured on our local and national websites and included in our public relations outreach.
Your organization's membership in the Alzheimer's Early Detection Alliance will make an enormous difference. Every day, thousands of new people will become educated about Alzheimer's disease and where they can go for help.
