At the Alzheimer’s Association, California Central Coast Chapter, we recognize the media as an important partner as we work to get important information to the public.

Guidelines for the Media

Media inquiries: 805.892.4259, Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All news media representatives (whether by e-mail, on the telephone or in person) should identify themselves and the organization they represent.

Inquiries for interviews, information or other media needs (hi-res photos, b-roll footage, other images or statistics and background information), should be made by contacting Barbara Lanz-Mateo, the Chapter's Communications Manager. She can be reached by telephone or by e-mail at barbara.lanz-mateo@alz.org. She will help you contact physician, family or chapter spokespersons.

About the Chapter

The Alzheimer’s Association, California Central Coast Chapter, covers Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Kern counties, California, with offices in Santa Barbara (headquarters), Santa Maria, Camarillo and San Luis Obispo. We offer a 24-hour Helpline 800.272.3900 for families in crisis and free support and education programs specifically targeted to families and professionals caring for those with Alzheimer's or other dementia.
