Memory Assessment Center Welcomes New Staff

The Memory Assessment Center for Alzheimer's disease, memory loss and related disorders at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage is pleased to welcome two new professional staff: Azar Izadian, M.D. a neurologist specializing in Alzheimer’s disease, vascular cognitive impairment and other memory disorders; and Nasrin Esnaashari, a nationally certified nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist.

2009 Facts and Figures

In the new report released today, total healthcare costs are calculated as per person payments from all sources. Medicare payments alone are almost three times higher for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia than for others over age 65; Medicaid payments alone are more than nine times higher.
