All we have achieved in Alzheimer care and support has been made possible by the individuals, corporations, foundations and membership organizations that make up our community of donors. We are grateful for their generosity during this exciting time of hope and progress. Their gifts ensure we can fund the research that helps uncover the remaining mysteries of Alzheimer’s; the programs that improve services and care; and the efforts that mobilize support for our mission. Making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association can come in many forms:

Donate online now

Using our online form is fast, easy and secure. Your gift will make a difference in the lives of people living with Alzheimer's disease and support research to improve treatment, care and prevention. Donations are tax-deductible.

Donate by phone: by calling one of our chapter offices.

Donate by mail: Send a check to the Alzheimer’s Association office nearest you

Participate in an event: Taking part in one of our local events increases the exposure and reach of the chapter. See the events we have planned!

General donations: General donations are always welcome and support the full mission of the Alzheimer's Association. Donations can be mailed to any of our offices. They can also be made by calling our chapter office or on our secure website.

Memorials and Tributes: Leaving a gift in remembrance of your loved one can provide a lasting memory of what they meant to you and the people in their life. Contributions may be made by mail, by calling our chapter office or on our secure website.

Workplace donation programs: The Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter can be designated through the Combined Federated Campaign (CFC #6208) or the State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA #59-704). You can also select the Alzheimer’s Association through your company’s United Way giving campaign. Be sure to designate your funds for the association or, if we are not listed, write-in our chapter’s name: Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter.

Sponsor an event: The Alzheimer’s Association is interested in building relationships with companies to help increase awareness of Alzheimer's disease, our organization and generate funds to further our mission. We are eager to work with you to explore how the Alzheimer's Association can best support your business goals and objectives. Some of the ways we can work together include cause-marketing programs and special events. To learn more, contact the chapter offices.

Gifts of stock: Many friends choose to make a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association through a gift of stock that has appreciated substantially over the years. Please contact us if you would like additional information about gifts of securities or mutual funds and how these contributions can be made effortlessly.

Donate a car: The chapter’s car donation program is easy to use. Simply call Insurance Auto Auction at 315-699-2622 to arrange an appointment. Their crew will tow the automobile. When the car sells at auction, the Alzheimer’s Association receives the proceeds and you receive receipt for a tax deduction.

Create an endowment: An endowment is when money is invested, the principal remains intact and the interest gained goes to benefit an organization. This provides a sustainable gift to an organization that supports a particular program or service. To learn more, contact the chapter office.
