ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Dr. Daniel D. Christensen, MD
The Keynote Speaker, Dr. Daniel D. Christensen, is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Clinical Professor of Neurology, and Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at The University of Utah. As an educational approach for medical students, Dr. Christensen video-taped 12 Alzheimer’s patients and their families from diagnosis to autopsy. This series of recordings has been presented at conferences throughout the world and was recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association in 2011 with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Robert A. Bornstein, PhD
Professor of Neurology and Psychology, Dr. Robert Bornstein also serves as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs for the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Wayne State University in 1972 and then went on to earn his M.A. in Clinical Psychology and PhD. in Clinical Neuropsychology.

Jeffrey Gordon, MD
Jeff Gordon, M.D. is the founder of End-of-Life Education and author of A Death Prolonged. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1984 and completed his internal medicine residency in 1988. Since 1998 Dr. Gordon has taught internal medicine to medical students and family medicine residents at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health.

George W. Paulson, MD
Emeritus Professor of Neurology at The Ohio State University, Dr. Paulson is the former Chairman of the Department of Neurology, and was formerly the elected Chief of Staff of University Hospitals. He has published over 250 scientific articles, many editorials and abstracts and 9 books. Now retired from clinical practice, he consults and teaches at the local state hospital, and serves as neurologist for the Free Clinic of Columbus.
