These special topics are offered upon request to health care providers. Continuing education units can be provided if requested in advance. To schedule a program at your facility, please call our main Cincinnati office at 513.721.4284. Training dates subject to staff availability.

Clinical Management of Advanced Disease

This program provides information about the management of the critical care needs of the affected person and family as they transition into the final phase of a dementing illness.
Cost: $100 per hour (3 hour program)

Down Syndrome and Alzheimer's Disease: Dual Diagnoses

Educational programs are available for professional care providers of persons with Down Syndrome and probable Alzheimer's disease. A nurse will present information about various aspects of dementia care for this special population and address care planning throughout the course of the disease.
Cost: $100 per hour (1 or 2 hour programs) 

Other Dementias

This program provides an overview of dementing illnesses other than Alzheimer's disease, including Dementia with Lewy Bodies, Vascular dementia, Frontotemporal Lobe dementia, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and others.
Cost: $100 per hour (2 or 4 hour program)
