What: A special program for social workers focusing on ethical considerations in the care of individuals with Alzheimer's and other dementias. Topics include disclosing the diagnosis, safety concerns, decision-making ability, end-of-life care and more.

Cost: $35 per person. 
CEU's: Application submitted for 3 hours of continuing education in ethics for Ohio social workers.

Family Support Group Facilitator Training
     

What: A training session for those interested in learning the basics of starting, facilitating and maintaining an Alzheimer's/dementia family caregiver support group.
Where: Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn Street, Cincinnati, OH 45203
Cost: $50 per person. *There is no fee for facilitators of affiliated Alzheimer's Association support groups. 
CEU's: Applications submitted for 3.5 hours of continuing education for Ohio nurses, Ohio social workers and counselors, and Kentucky social workers.
