The Longest Day

The Longest Day is all about love. Love for all those affected by Alzheimer's disease. On the summer solstice, team up with the Alzheimer’s Association and select any activity you love — or an activity loved by those affected — to help end Alzheimer’s. Together, we will raise funds and awareness for care and support while advancing research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. We host The Longest Day because for those facing Alzheimer’s Disease, every day is The Longest Day.

The Longest Day Planning Committee *new* Join the planning committee and help us have the most successful year, yet! Cultivate relationships with The Longest Day participants, recruit new teams and build awareness about the Alzheimer’s Association and The Longest Day in your community. Committee members are accepted on a rolling basis, please contact Signature Events Manager, Katie Mang, at kmang@alz.org or 216.342.5593
Start a team Sign up as team captain an d ask your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, colleagues, classmates or community members – anyone you know – to join you in raising funds and participating in a team activity to raise funds and awareness on or leading up to The Longest Day.
Host an event *new* Want to plan an activity, but there’s no need to recruit team members? Sign up as an event host, and plan a party or event that raises funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association on or leading up to The Longest Day.
Participate as an individual *new* This year, you can fly solo and participate in The Longest Day. Sign up as a participant, select and activity and utilize all of the resources on the website to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. This is great for individuals that want to ask for pledges or donations in return for doing some type of activity, for example $1 for each step taken; $50 for each pie baked. The possibilities are limitless.
So do what you love and make sure you choose the date that works best for your team. Need some inspiration?

For more information, contact Jessica Gretz at (216) 342-5606 or jgretz@alz.org
