Community Education
The overarching goal for all education programs is to improve quality of life for people with any type of dementia. Attendees leave knowing more about the disease, signs to look for, what to expect, and with proven strategies to help families cope and provide quality care. Participants also learn about brain health and how to live a brain-healthy lifestyle.
The Cleveland Area Chapter provides monthly Dementia Care trainings for family members at various locations within our five-county service area. The interactive training helps family caregivers develop specialized skills needed to provide quality care to individuals with dementia.
We offer a variety of education programs to the Cleveland area community. Most classes and workshops are free of charge. Calendar
