JACKIES RUN

Steve Schwalbach, the man who ran the state of Kentucky in 2014 in honor of his mother, Jackie, is doing it again!  This year Steve will be accompanied by Walt Neubauer of Columbus and Joshua Strzala of Cleveland as they run the great state of Ohio to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's disease.

CUT-A-THON HOSTED BY DINO PALMIERI SALON AND SPA

The team at Dino Palmieri Salon and Spa will be hosting (2) Cut-a-thons this spring to raise funds for the Cleveland Area Chapter's Blondes vs Brunettes event. The public is invited to join the Dino Palmieri stylists at Great Northern Mall and Eton Collection as they donate, cut, and style their way to help eliminate Alzheimer’s disease. Blondes vs. Brunettes is the Flag Football sensation sweeping the nation to help fight Alzheimer’s disease by raising funds and awareness. Two teams, divided to reflect the age-old rivalry between Blondes and Brunettes, compete in this battle against Alzheimer’s. Ladies play, but anyone can coach, attend the game or make a donation. The Longest Day is a sunrise-to-sunset team event held on the summer solstice to honor the strength, passion and endurance of those facing Alzheimer’s disease. Self-organized teams across the globe will unite in 16 hours of consecutive activity and commit to raising awareness and funds for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
