About Memory Walk
The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk®, nationally presented by Genworth Financial, is our national signature event and brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who all want to make a difference. 2008 Cleveland Memory Walk
Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Tower City Center
The 2.5 mile walk (1 mile course also available) will start at 10:00am and is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The route will give you a panoramic view of the city including, he Warehouse Districe, Browns Stadium, and the Lake Erie waterfront.
Enjoy "A Musical Journey" with family-friendly activities such as kids' zone, community expo, scavenger hunt, and entertainment from 8:30am-12:00pm.
Free parking will be available in designated parking lots.
Together, we'll build a world without Alzheimer's disease.

Fundraising doesn't have to be difficult! You have the support of the Alzheimer's Association behind you. For fundraising ideas, sample letters, and more click here.
Through the Alzheimer’s Association, teams or individuals can purchase Malley’s chocolates at just $.50/bar, and then sell them for $1 or more. This is an easy way for teams or individuals to raise money!
Individuals or teams must purchase chocolates by the case (36 bars per case). Each case costs $18 ($18 profit per case!) and the case must be paid for when it is picked up. The money raised by selling the chocolate should be turned in with other Memory Walk pledges/donations and will be credited to the individual or team.
There are three varieties available: pretzel, almond, and crunch. Cases are first come, first served!
Malley’s Chocolates are available for Memory Walk participants at the locations listed below. Simply call one of the locations to schedule a time to pick up the chocolates and pay by cash (exact payments would be appreciated) or check (made out to Alzheimer’s Association) when the chocolates are picked up.

Incentives
We are happy to offer an exciting prize program to our participants in recognition of your outstanding fundraising efforts. The first incentive level is $100 to receive a long-sleeve Memory Walk t-shirt at the event.

In appreciation of your hard work and fundraising efforts, we are happy to announce the following additional incentives for the Cleveland Memory Walk from Larry Nance, retired Cleveland Cavalier.

• Each will receive an autographed basketball from Larry Nance AND 2 tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers game

Winners for these additional incentives will be determined based on total fundraising as of Monday, September 29. Winners will be announced on Friday, October 3.
***Any donations that were not made online can be turned in at one of our Bank Nights or mailed to the address below at any time. Donations must be received by Monday, September 29 for the Cleveland incentives.***
