About Walk to End Alzheimer’s
As a participant in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the critical dollars you raise support:

The Cleveland Area Chapter's FREE programs and services for the more than 40,000 affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias in Northeast Ohio. Click here to learn about the programs and services made possible by the funds you raise and donate.

The advancement of research to find a cure. Cleveland is home to many of the top Alzheimer’s disease researchers. They receive grants from the Alzheimer’s Association, the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s research in the world.

Advocacy on Capitol Hill to make Alzheimer’s a national priority.
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is our national signature event. Since 1989, Walk to End Alzheimer’s has raised more than $300 million to help advance research and support for those battling Alzheimer’s disease. In Northeast Ohio, the two walks bring together more than 2000 family, friends, caregivers, and concerned community members. In the face of this devastating disease, the walk gives you an opportunity to make a difference and give hope to the millions who are affected.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s at a glance
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is an inspiring and community-driven event which is comprised of:
- 3-mile long route or 1-mile short cut
- Fun activities and entertainment including a Kids Zone
- A meaningful opening ceremony
- Information on Alzheimer’s Association programs and services, including how to become an advocate and stay involved year-round
- Information about our corporate sponsors’ services and products

- Fundraise in Style!
$100 = Walk T-shirt (t-shirts not to exceed number of registered walkers on a teams, so invite more people to join your team! )
- Although there is no registration fee, we encourage our walkers to raise money for the cause. Take the first step toward reaching your fundraising goal by making a personal donation today.
- All checks must be made out to the Alzheimer's Association. Make sure to put the walker or team name and walk location in the memo section of the check. DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE MAIL.
