Mission Statement: To heighten awareness of Alzheimer's disease, provide support for all affected families, and promote the advancement of research.
We are pleased to announce the new young professional group of the Alzheimer's Association Colorado Chapter. The group was formed to help the Colorado Chapter build awareness about Alzheimer's disease with younger individuals in our community.
An estimated 64,000 Coloradans have Alzheimer's disease, and in just 15 years that number is expected to grow by 124% to 140,000. In response to the impact this disease is having on all generations, Denver's next generation of business, civil and community leaders have come together to create the Young Professional's Alzheimer's Association of Colorado (YPAAC).
Consider joining the dynamic group of professionals. It's a unique opportunity for individuals new to the work force to gain experience in philanthropy while helping the Association. It's also an enjoyable and worthwhile experience to network socially and professionally with friends and business associates. We also want to encourage our younger volunteers to get involved with our new Young Professionals' Group.
