    Mugs for the Memories presented by Danbury Stairs Corporation (Danbury, CT)
    Danbury Stairs is celebrating their 40th anniversary with a campaign to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.     Shaw’s Neighborhood Rewards Program (Any CT Shaws)
    Go to www.shaws.com/neighborhoodrewards and link your Shaws Reward Card number to the Association ID# 49001020089. When you shop at any Shaw’s or Massachusetts Star Market on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; Shaws will contribute 1% of eligible purchases to the Alzheimer’s Association.
     
    Hope for a Cure: Purchase Sapphire Hope Products to Benefit Alzheimer’s

    Music for Memory: December 6, 2009, 4:00 p.m. (Southport, CT)
    Music for Memory, a benefit concert for the Alzheimer’s Association will take place at the Pequot Library Auditorium, 720 Pequot Avenue, Southport, CT. The event will feature Allegra Themmen-Pigott, Soprano and Heather Amlin Hamilton, Pianist with music by Bellini, Bernstein, Brahmns, Gounoud, Gershwin and others.     Bowling for Alzheimer’s: February 24, 2010 (Plantsville, CT)
    Dust off your bowling balls and shoes and join Arden Courts of Farmington at Super Bowl Lanes in Plantsville for a fundraiser to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Save the date.

    Hartford Wolf Pack Alzheimer’s Association Night: March 26, 2010, 7 p.m. (Hartford, CT)
    Join us at the XL Center for the Hartford Wolf Pack Alzheimer’s Association Night. Tickets are $10.00 each which includes an Alzheimer’s t-shirt.   • Ideas for events you can host to raise funds for the Connecticut Chapter


    Here are several easy steps to take if you want to host a fundraising event to benefit the Connecticut Chapter!
    Select the type of event you want to have (check out the ideas below)

    1. Contact the Chapter office nearest you for a fundraising kit that includes a third-party event proposal form (the Connecticut Chapter must pre-approve all third-party events benefiting the Chapter). To download Third-Party Proposal Form click here

    2. Host your event

    3. Submit your event report with the proceeds of your event (photos are always welcome)
