2012 Bill Howard Golf Tournament
Our 14th annual Bill Howard Golf Tournament will be on Thursday, May 3 at Birdwood Golf Course. If you're a golfer, you don't want to miss this fun day! Long-time Charlottesville commercial real estate agent Bill Howard started the tournament 13 years ago after his father died from Alzheimer's disease. Bill's family had turned to the Alzheimer's Association for care and support when his father was diagnosed.
We'll have a light breakfast starting at 7:00am. The shotgun start for the morning flight is 8:00am. Lunch will be on the course starting at 11:30am for all golfers. The afternoon flight shotgun start time is 1:00pm. The format is Captain's Choice.
Best of all - each golf foursome receives eight (8) tickets to The Kentucky Derby Gala and Silent Auction featuring Big Ray and the Kool Kats on Friday, May 4 at the Charlottesville Omni Hotel.

2012 Kentucky Derby Gala and Silent Auction
A big highlight of this year's Kentucky Derby Gala will be Big Ray & The Kool Kats, a band that has played at innagural balls, private parties and big events up and down the east coast for many years. They are a huge favorite in the Charlottesville area drawing big crowds to performances at the Ntelos Downtown Pavilion and The Paramount.
In the spirit of the Kentucky Derby, horse racing from Massino's Cassinos will add to the excitement. If shopping is more your speed and you are feling a little competitive, we will have a spectacular silent auction featuring a getaway to St. Thomas, fabulous jewelry, sports & adventure packages, art, and fun and useful items for your entire family to enjoy.
Come and enjoy complimentary drinks, including this year's signature cocktail the "Memory Mint Julep," and scrumptious food choices including a Martini Mashed Potato Bar, carving station and more. You will have a great time with your friends - new and old!
