Help*line
What is Help*line? It is the Alzheimer's Association 24/7 hotline for families living with dementia and the community-at-large that helps assist caregivers by offering emotional support as well as provide information about Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, chapter services and community resources.
The following volunteer opportunities are available through our Help*line program:
- Helpline Associate - individual will assist callers by providing information, making referrals and providing reassurance and emotional support. Volunteer times are flexible, and include business hours of 8:30-5:00, and can include evenings. Familiarity with Alzheimer's, other dementias or a willingness to learn are helpful. - Data Entry Specialist - individual will provide support through data entry and feel comfortable with talking on the telephone.
