
Our Basic Family Caregiver Series consists of four topics spread over two, three or four sessions.
Topic #1 - Overview of Dementia provides information about Alzheimer's disease, Multi-Infarct disease and many other related dementias and includes information about diagnosis, treatment and stages.
Topic #2 - Legal & Financial Issues gives an overview of legal and financial issues families face and an understanding of why early planning is essential.
Topic #3 - Day-to-Day Caregiving offers tips about communication, activities, home safety and managing unique behaviors.
Topic #4 - Community Resources & Caring for the Caregiver includes resource information about home care, adult day services, assisted living, nursing home care and hospice and more.
Below is a listing of all Caregiver Series programs by County. If a fee is requested, it will be listed with the County and the one fee covers all sessions and all members of a family.
