Development - VP of Development and Communication

The Alzheimer's Association Miami Valley Chapter seeks a transformational development leader with  passion for achieving goals through building key stakeholder relationships at all levels.  To join our team and cause a candidate must be compassionate, focused and unrelenting!

The Miami Valley Chapter is recognized by the national Alzheimer's Association network for our excellence in achieving strategic goals and development activities.  Our lead signature event, The Walk to End Alzheimer's (r), is one of Dayton's highest grossing fundraising events. Our Walks and Fundraising also lead the national network as one of the top fundraising per capita chapters.  Having doubled revenue in 4 years, the candidate will lead an organization with great momentum.

As Alzheimer's is one of the fastest growing causes, the candidate should possess a vision to lead and inspire others to achieve successful development activities across many platforms.  One must have a strong background in peer to peer fundraising events and building development plans that succeed. This individual will manage development staff and volunteers in addition to overseeing Chapter Communication activities.  Experience with corporate relations will be strongly preferred.
