Support Groups in your Community
Alzheimer’s Association support groups offer caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder the opportunity to meet with others in similar circumstances at a regularly scheduled meeting in a safe, confidential environment. Caregivers attending support groups can discuss challenges, share best practices and knowledge about dementia, and find emotional support and empowerment from other group members. All groups are led by trained volunteer facilitators that receive ongoing support from the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter.
Support groups are available throughout southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey at various times and dates of the month. Support groups are listed alphabetically by county for each state in our chapter.
