Wine Room of Cherry Hill aims to Stomp Out Alzheimer’s!
Sue Wronsky, SJ Special Events Coordinator
The Wine Room of Cherry Hill has gotten creative for the Alzheimer’s cause. Owner Kenton Nice and Manager Michael D'Auria recently announced that they’ll host an annual grape stomp with proceeds to benefit the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter Atlantic City Memory Walk. In addition to the grape stomp, the Wine Room will continue to donate their space and offer complimentary wine-tastings for the annual South Jersey Memory Walk kickoff event.
Since 2005, Nice and D'Auria have hosted the annual South Jersey Memory Walk Kick-off. For the first time last year, they also kicked off their fall harvest season by holding a grape stomp, and donated funds to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter.
The Wine Room provides a unique setting for the wine enthusiast, inviting wine makers of various levels of experience to order their own grapes and bottle their own private-label wine. Wine making sessions have been enjoyed by family groups, friends, and co-workers. The Wine Room also presents wine and food seminars, and hosts wine-related events for private groups or organizations. The Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter is excited to partner with the Wine Room – working together to “Stomp Out” Alzheimer’s!
