The Alzheimer’s Association wishes to express its deep appreciation to our corporate sponsors for their exceptional support of our mission in our community by sponsoring community awareness and education sessions, caregiver support services, a 24-hour contact helpline, community outreach and funding research to find a cure.
Increasingly, companies are recognizing that a strong and deep commitment to supporting a worthy charitable cause is indeed good business.
As a result, Cause Marketing is increasingly prevalent, compelling and powerful. About 92% of consumers consider it important for corporations to contribute to non-profit organizations.
The latest studies on Cause Marketing by Cone Research indicate that consumers are much more likely to be loyal to companies that are engaged in helping charitable causes.
-
Eight in 10 Americans say that corporate support of causes wins their trust in that company
-
And 86% of consumers say they are very/somewhat likely to switch from one brand to another that is about the same in price and quality, if the other brand is associated with a cause
In addition:
-
Corporate giving increases company profits at a rate of return of 200 to 300 percent. For every dollar a corporation gives to charity, that company can expect profits to rise by two or three dollars, according to a study by Baruch Lev and Christine Petrovits of NYU’s Stern School of Business along with Suresh Radharakishnan of the University of Texas at the Dallas School of Management.
-
That report made it clear that consumers want companies to go beyond their traditional business and profit making roles to contribute to broader societal goals.
