What we do with these funds

The Alzheimer’s Association was established as an alliance of family members and professionals dedicated to helping people with Alzheimer’s disease, and their families, through education, advocacy and support. The Association’s goal is to provide a comprehensive system of compassionate care and family support, and to support research efforts to prevent, treat and cure Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Programs and services are offered for free to those who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia, and their caregivers.

The Delaware Valley Chapter offers a 24/7/365 Contact Center/Helpline offering translation in 140 languages, nearly 200 monthly support groups throughout the tri-state region, eight-hour Family Caregiver Trainings, the Safe Return® Program for Wanderers, Speakers Bureau, Health Fairs and Community Education programs, Multicultural Outreach for African Americans, Latinos and Asian Americans families, and a quarterly newsletter with a circulation of 62,000.

Through the donation of time and dollars by generous friends like you, we are increasingly closer to achieving our goal of a world without Alzheimer’s disease. You really do make a difference!
