Collaboration on Health Equity Related to Alzheimer’s and All Dementias

Alzheimer’s Association International Conference Advancements: Toward Health Equity in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias was hosted to support vital health equity in Alzheimer’s research and drive collaboration across the dementia science field among early career researchers and experienced investigators.

Toward Health Equity in ADRD — previously called Addressing Health Disparities — was the third conference planned and hosted in partnership with the National Institute on Aging (NIA). The 2023 event explored inequities in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s and related dementias. The event also provided a vital platform for discussion, networking and mentorship opportunities among early career and senior investigators.
