The Desert Southwest Chapter Southern Nevada Region hosted our 8th Annual Southern Nevada Caregiver Education Conference on April 27, 2011. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this conference a success. This year's conference will be an all day event featuring specially designed sessions for both professional and family caregivers. The most current information regarding Alzheimer's disease research, as well as hands on tools for caregiving will be the primary focus of the education sessions. Sessions are designed to impart relevant strategies and hands-on techniques, strengthening caregiving skills as well as provide ample time for interaction between speakers and participants.
