EARLY STAGE ALZHEIMER’S EDUCATION/SUPPORT SESSIONS TO BEGIN THIS FALL IN PRESCOTT

If you or a family member has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease or another type of dementia, you are invited to contact the Alzheimer’s Association, at 928.771.9257, to learn about the Early Stage Alzheimer’s Education/Support Program designed especially for persons in the Early Stage.

In 8 weekly sessions, skilled professionals will lead discussions of pertinent issues and provide you with important, up-to date medical information. Groups are small so that you will have the opportunity to meet and share with others facing similar challenges.

Family members are welcome to accompany the person with dementia to the sessions. No fee is charged.

After attending the 8 weekly sessions, you may choose to participate in one or more of the activities and social events that comprise the Alzheimer’s Association Early Stage Program for Graduates.
