(Waterloo) December 10, 2008 – Maple Lanes Bowling Center at 2608 University Ave. in Waterloo is offering an opportunity for individuals to give back this holiday season. The bowling center will be donating 25% of all proceeds raised on Saturday, December 27th from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. to the Alzheimer’s Association East Central Iowa Chapter.

Alzheimer’s disease is currently the 6th leading cause of death in the United States and 16,000 East Central Iowans are living with the disease. This event is a great opportunity for families and individuals to have some fun together and support the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission, which is a world without Alzheimer’s.
